The seventh edition celebrated the restaurants, chefs and hospitality talent shaping the United Kingdom’s dining landscape.
The British Restaurant Awards announced the official nominees for its seventh annual edition on 18 July 2025.
The shortlist brought together newly opened restaurants, established dining destinations, leading chefs, emerging culinary talent, hospitality teams, bars, takeaways and dining platforms from across the United Kingdom.
The British Restaurant Awards are shaped by public participation, with culinary consumers invited to nominate and vote for their favourite restaurants, chefs and hospitality businesses.
The 2025 shortlist represented restaurants and hospitality talent from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Wales, Surrey, Essex, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bradford, Bristol, Brighton, Leeds, Birmingham, Southampton, Cambridge and Leicester.

The British Restaurant Awards provide members of the public with an opportunity to nominate and vote for their favourite restaurants, chefs, bars, takeaways, hospitality teams and dining platforms.
For the 2025 edition, public voting opened on 18 July and continued until midnight on 16 August 2025.
Each submitted vote was verified to support the integrity of the voting process before the winners were announced at the seventh annual ceremony.

Stage Three · The Verified Public Vote
Until 16 August 2025
Public voting took place from 18 July until midnight on 16 August 2025, with votes verified before the final results were confirmed.

The event was broadcast live on VooVix TV and streamed globally through YouTube.
