London, 11/06/18 , Brunch has been announced winners of this year’s Best British Takeaway restaurant for 2018 following a recount of the votes last week. One of the Founders of Brunch , Sharon Carline commented “Brunch opened its doors for the first time as a small café/takeaway situated in the heart of Whiston Village , Merseyside.Prior to opening Brunch, I worked within the food service industry, helping many independent & national account customers to devise, plan, cost and source products for their menus. After many years of working closely with dedicated business owners I decided it was
perfect opportunity to achieve my lifetime ambition of owning my own business”.
British Restaurant Awards (BRA) is an annual awards ceremony which provides an opportunity for customers to nominate and vote for their Best Restaurants, Chefs and culinary service in the UK. Nominations are also submitted by Food critics and the nomination board of members at the British Restaurant Awards. Simon Jobson, PR Manager for British Restaurant Awards “It was brought to our attention that there was a possibility of a discrepancy in the votes for this category. Hence, we took immediate action to investigate each single vote that was received for the entire awards show and made sure it connected to a real user and verified IP address. After a 7 day investigation, Brunch was confirmed as the rightful winner of the Best British
Takeaway restaurant in 2018 with the majority of verified votes. The BRA board were delighted to break the good news to Brunch as it is testament of the amazing hard work which they have put in since Brunch opened its doors”.
Brunch’s signature dish is not any one dish but everyone’s individual dish! For some it may be the same as the person before them such as a Double Brunch Breakfast but then again it could be a salt and pepper chicken pasta or even the Eggs Benedict?…. but they have something for everyone, every dish is considered a signature dish at Brunch whilst being
prepared by a member of the Brunch team, this way they can ensure everything ‘Is made fresh for you, just the way you like it’ which also happens to be their motto.
Sharon Carline (Brunch) continued “One of the many factors contributing to the success of Brunch is my fabulous team members who have all played key roles in making Brunch such a success. The Brunch team is more of a family, with no hierarchy where everyone mucks in together; all team members are well rounded individuals who have gained valuable skills and qualities which make Brunch, Brunch. The team has grown from the initial four members to 16 to-date, all contributing their individual skills to provide an exemplary service”.
